The following is something I’ve literally never told another person before. I love this photo and, for the past year, I have secretly sung The Singing Shark song in my head before every single improv show I’ve done. I’ve had some shitty shows in the past year, so it’s not even like it necessarily helps. But it makes me laugh and the message behind the song gets me pumped. Eventually it just became a pre-show superstition and I thought it’d be bad luck for me NOT to sing the song. I’m so embarrassed to be posting this right now.

This is my favorite Christmas special. Every year I hunt it down on ABC Family, but this year it doesn’t look like they’re showing it. So I just bought it on DVD.

Because even a miracle needs a hand.

I had to do the same thing! This year’s Charlie Brown Special was supposed to air on Tuesday but was preempted in favor of Obama’s A Very Afganistany Christmas. Even though I played it on my TV, the fact that I had to download it made it feel very tainted. It’s just not the same.

After seeing that glitch on the website, I checked the schedule for that year’s marathon and am now really wishing it were true. I feel like “Respecto Montalban: Taxicab Confessions” was probably a show worth catching. But two hours of Drunken Sonic Assault feels taxing.
