This week’s episode is like red, but not quite.
Lively debate abounds as we talk with the creator of Phil Phriday himself, UCB writer/performer Mike Scollins. We discuss band gimmicks, thin metaphors and angry letters addressed to the Lyte Funky Ones. Alden tries to disparage his own song and fails, Winston tries to defend his and fails, and Mike discusses music he and his mother can both agree on. Enjoy!
Alden’s pick: Guster - Barrel of a Gun
Winston’s pick: Aerosmith - Pink
Mike’s pick: Hootie & the Blowfish - Let Her CryMike was really fun to have on the show! Can we all agree to go on a band cruise together?
This was really fun to do!

“There’s Always Money in the Banana Stand” ice cream at Ample Hills Creamery in Brooklyn. I can confirm that it is very delicious.
If you don’t know about Ample Hills you better ask someone.
Sassy waiter, slow motion waiter, Robo Roy sold flowers, even Elvis made an appearance and introduced his band mates. Twice! #policechiefrumble
